What is the right salt for my salt shaker?

Fine Ground Celtic Sea Salt is an all-purpose shaker salt convenient for use at the table or in baking. It has been dried and ground to a fine consistency.

The coarse salt is wet and sticks in my grinder. What should I do?

The Light Grey Celtic Sea Salt is naturally moist and must be dried before filling your salt grinder. There are several ways to accomplish this.

  1. Spread some salt on a plate and leave it sit out to dry. This takes 12 to 24 hours, depending on humidity.
  2. Spread it on a cookie sheet and dry it in your oven at a low temperature.
  3. If you have a dehydrator, you can dry the salt in there as well.
Once your coarse salt is dry, it will work great in your grinder.
